Robert J Leighton specialises in large and medium format landscape photography. His passion lies with film and the wet process of printing, particularly black and white imagery.

He takes pride in the traditional skills of pre-visualising of the final image, the discipline of careful composition, reading the light, exposure metering to exacting standards to match the materials (film).

Leighton is now embracing digital photography and is using new technology in conjunction with the traditional process to produce his work.
